All Star Tower Defense X Beginner Guide

Follow this beginner flow to start with free resources, build a summon-ready roster, and progress through Story and farming modes efficiently.

Step 1: Enter the Official Roblox Experience

Starter Step

Start inside the game and learn placement, upgrades, and wave pacing before spending premium resources.

Step 2: Redeem Codes Before Summoning

Resource Setup

Claim active codes first so your first banner cycle has enough Gems, Trait Burners, and Stat Dice.

Step 3: Summon and Build Core Slots

Roster Build

Use banner refresh windows and pity progress to secure dependable 5 Star and support options early.

Step 4: Push Story Mode and Farm

Progression Loop

Use Story clears for stable rewards, then expand into Infinite, Trials, and Portal farming routes.

Management Tips

  • Track banner refresh timing before committing Gems.
  • Mix damage, support, and economy units instead of stacking one role.
  • Use traits and hidden potential on your highest-value core units first.
  • Keep one farming team and one push team for different mode goals.

All Star Tower Defense X Summon Banner

Summoning is the main way to obtain most units in the game. Use Banner X and Banner Y timing, rates, and pity math to plan every Gem session.

Banner Refresh Schedule

Banner X refreshes at XX:00 and Banner Y refreshes at XX:30 every hour, giving two pull windows each cycle.

Banner Rates

Visible pool uses 1 Five-Star (1%), 2 Four-Stars (8%), and 3 Three-Stars (27%), while Unbound remains a hidden 0.01% chase.

Summon Costs

Single summons cost 50 Gems, while 10x costs 450 Gems and lowers full 5-Star pity to 4,500 Gems.

Pity and Unbound Targets

5-Star pity triggers at 100 summons and Unbound pity at 2,000 summons, with Spider Boss on Banner X and Michishibo on Banner Y.

Check Banner X and Banner Y before every summon session

Treat Unbound pulls as long-term pity goals, not short-term odds

Use 10x summons to save Gems during full pity cycles

Match featured units to your current team gaps before spending

All Star Tower Defense X Traits

Traits can change a unit role by improving damage, range, speed, economy, durability, placement count, and special effects.

Core Damage Traits

Carry Priority

Zenkai, Dexterity, Sharpshooter, and Tempest improve carry output and are strong keeps when your DPS units already have stable placement and uptime.

Utility and Economy Traits

Support Value

Midas, Companion, Tank, and Perception improve farming consistency, placement flexibility, or frontline stability for long maps.

Rare Trait Pity

High-End Rerolls

Bloodlust (500 pity), Corrupted (450 pity), Genesis (650 pity), and All Star (1000 pity) are build-defining outcomes worth planned reroll budgets.

Reroll Order

Upgrade Route

Reroll your main carry first, then shield-break or support units, and avoid burning Trait Burners on temporary roster slots.

All Star Tower Defense X Gems Guide

Gems are the core summon currency in the game. Start with one-time rewards, then move into repeatable Story, Infinite, and Portal farming loops.

Immediate Gems

Code Redemption Route

Codes like THANKYOUFOR570KLIKES, DELAYYY5, and SORRY4BREAK give fast Gems plus Trait Burners, Stat Dice, and Bounded Cubes.

First-Clear Income

Story Casual and Hard Clears

Casual first clears give 60 Gems per Arc and Hard first clears give 70, while both routes unlock stronger maps and better farm options.

Repeatable Farming

Infinite Wave Milestones

Infinite Gem rewards scale by wave checkpoints, from around 14-15 at wave 10 up to about 99 by wave 50 for stable repeat income.

Resource Efficiency

Classic and Void Bag Value

Classic Infinite improves Gem efficiency for strong base teams, and Void Bags add Trait Burners, Stat Dice, Bounded Cubes, and Summon Tickets.

Late-Game Route

Portal and Pity Planning

Portals cost 250 Gems and can return 235 Gems per clear plus special drops, so combine portal runs with 10x summon pity planning.

All Star Tower Defense X Story Mode

Story Mode is the core progression route in the game. Each area has 6 Arcs with 15 waves, boss pressure, and first-clear rewards.

Mode Structure

Story System Overview

Each Story area has 6 Arcs with 15 waves each, and Arc clears unlock the next area plus Endless access for that region.

Early Route

Innovation to Voldstandig

Innovation Island (Blue, weak to Green) and City of Voldstandig (Purple, weak to Orange) establish early progression and elemental planning.

Mid Route

Future City and Hidden Storm

Future City (Orange, weak to Red) and Hidden Storm Village (Green, weak to Purple) add harder boss mechanics and tighter team checks.

Late Route

Giant Island and City of York

Giant Island (Red, weak to Blue) and City of York (Green, weak to Purple) demand burst damage for complex boss behavior and final-wave pressure.

Reward Path

Story Reward Planning

Casual and Hard clears provide Gems, Gold, food, map drops, and mount or VFX rewards, so route clears by both progression and farm value.

All Star Tower Defense X Infinite Mode Wave Rewards and HP Scaling

Track Infinite Mode milestones, enemy HP spikes, multiplayer scaling, and Gem reward checkpoints to decide when to reset.

Infinite Mode sends endless enemy waves until base HP is depleted. Regular mode keeps Traits, Hidden Potential, and stats active, while Classic disables those bonuses for a slight Gem-gain increase. Enemy HP scales by player count at +0.9x HP per extra player, so 2P to 4P runs become much heavier than solo clears.

Void Bags can drop EXP items, Trait Burners, Stat Dice, Bounded Cubes, Summon Tickets, and Kujo.
Void Bag inventory cap is 199, so clear or open bags regularly during long sessions.
2P to 4P scaling is steep, so choose wave targets by reward efficiency, not only max-wave ambition.

All Star Tower Defense X Trials Rewards, Strategist Mode, Coins, and Clear Notes

Review Trials by level requirement, reward pool, element, coin drops, and boss mechanics across Regular and Strategist.

Trials unlock at level gates and reward Gold, Gems, trial-specific coins, materials, and unit drops. Regular clears usually have 5% unit chances, while Strategist usually has 25% unit chances and better coin drops, but removes unit Hidden Potential, Traits, and Stats.

All Star Tower Defense X Portals Guide from Tier 1 to Unbound

Follow the Portal route: buy a portal, clear tiers, manage lives, and push for Unbound special rewards.

Portals were introduced in Update 6 and are purchased from NPC Nakime near the Trials entrance. Each portal has 3 lives and disappears after three defeats. Portal runs use tier difficulty and modifiers, with the long-term route climbing from Tier 1 to Tier 5 and then chasing Unbound.

Most successful clears move upward until Tier 5.

5

Protect Your 3 Lives

Action

Avoid repeated failed attempts on the same portal.

Key Rule

Each portal has 3 lives and disappears after three defeats.

A failed streak forces a restart with a new purchased portal.

6

Farm Tier 5 for Unbound

Action

Keep clearing Tier 5 portals after reaching Tier 5.

Key Rule

Tier 5 stays Tier 5 at 100%.

Extra

Each Tier 5 clear has a 2% chance to grant an Unbound Portal.
